What's new

Family Vault 0.3.0 is installed on this server.

Keep Family Vault on your iPhone

  1. Open your family's secure Family Vault address in Safari.
  2. Tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. You may need to scroll through the actions.
  3. If Open as Web App appears, leave it on. Keep the name Family Vault, then tap Add.

The blue document icon opens Family Vault in its own window. Your usual password and authenticator protect access. A network connection to your family server is still required.

Version 0.3.0

A private key to get started

  • New installations generate a private, one-time setup key, shown by the installer or the server-console setup-key command.
  • Create the mpconway administrator account in the browser with your own password, then enroll an authenticator before accessing documents.
  • First-time setup closes and the installation key is invalidated when the first account is created. Existing accounts are preserved.

Version 0.2.0

At home on your Home Screen

  • See the installed version and open What’s new from every screen.
  • Save Family Vault to your iPhone Home Screen with its own document icon and standalone window.
  • Use layouts that account for iPhone screen edges and the Home indicator.
  • Read Home Screen setup instructions inside the app. Documents still require a connection and secure sign-in.

Version 0.1.1

Clearer family document browsing

  • Browse documents in category groups with aligned names, people, and original-location information.
  • Use a collapsible phone menu, visible filter labels, and a clear-filters action.
  • Improved contrast, keyboard navigation, and feedback when saving or uploading.
  • Applied the supplied Taste Skill and Impeccable app-interface guidance while preserving Homewell’s visual conventions.

Version 0.1.0

Your family essentials in one place

  • Individual accounts with mandatory authenticator setup and one-use recovery codes.
  • A curated Paperless collection with document permissions, original-paper locations, and family instructions.
  • Emergency essentials, family account management, and activity history.
  • A separate Docker application with light and dark appearances.
